| Hi I am J.Michael Burdette, I am Disabled.After several surgeries,I can no longer do my Art Work as much as I would like to.How ever I'm am going to try and make a few pieces each year.Depending on how my body treats me.I will only do Museum Quality work!1 piece at a time to put up here for sale. .I now live in the Beautiful State of New Mexico.I lived in Wyoming for several years,I sold a lot of my Art Work there.The Wyo. State Museum owns 1 of my pieces Titeled " Territory " It is a BigHorn Sheep Horn ,Carved with rams inside of it.It sat in the Senate Chambers in the State Capital for 9 months.I've made literally hundreds of pieces during my lifetime from Bronze Sculpturs to Horn and Antler carving.Custom knives.I do some leather work as well as tan my own snake skins for hatbands, belts etc. ,Alabastor and Turqouise carvings.Gold & Silver castings.I now spend most of my time doing Glass Etchings, with the differance in Mine is that I cut the glass a deep as possible to give it the effect of Cut Crystal which makes for a nicer 2-D image Look around and see some of my stuff I have won Best Of Show and First Place in many competitions.I hope you enjoy what you see , The First pictures below are of the begining and final result of mt Glass Ecthing as well a couple others with gold inlay located below.Only the Bucking Bronco and Cowboy would be considered for sale at this point.As well as the Turquoise inlayed Bull Skull.Drop me a line I'd like to hear from you Bye J.Michael |
